How do you hand out tips to youths about eating healthily and sustainably? Youth Marketeers knows the answer. A Facebook contest for a luxury brunch with five friends: sustainable and healthy of course! The contestants were able to pick the location to eat brunch with their friends: ‘At the top of the Dom tower’, ‘On the roof of my school’, ‘At the heart of the fairy tale forest of the Efteling Park,’ or ‘On the movie set of Spangas.’ The youths definitely enjoyed themselves.
The Netherlands Nutrition Centre organized this campaign to increase awareness among youths about what they eat. When teens participated in the contest, their entries were posted on their Facebook pages together with a tidbit (with the teen’s permission of course). A visibility of hundreds of thousands of youths!
